As a recognition of our sustainability performance, EcoVadis has awarded us the Bronze Medal for 2025. Gabriel-Chemie has thus ranked among the top 35% of our industry worldwide.
EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of sustainability ratings. The EcoVadis rating methodology aims to assess the quality of a company's sustainability management system based on three key pillars: policies, actions, and results.
The assessment focuses on 21 criteria, which are divided into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. These criteria are based on international sustainability standards such as the Global Compact Principles, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard, the ISO 26000 norm, and the CERES principles.
For example, aspects such as energy consumption, biodiversity, information management, employee health & safety, and diversity & equality were evaluated.
