This is us

Sustainability at all levels

In times of climate change, it is now more than ever our incentive and obligation to deal responsibly with the use of resources on the one hand and plastics in particular on the other. At the same time, effective action is needed to achieve the EU climate targets together. As part of our vision, we have defined sustainability goals that are to be achieved with strong measures. Central issues here are, among others, the reduction of our CO2-e emissions, the further use of production waste as a recyclable material and, last but not least, measures and processes to prevent plastic discharges into the environment.

On the way to becoming a climate-neutral company (Scope 1 and 2), we have set ourselves the goal of implementing the following milestones:

We want to further increase the share of renewable energy to 85% by 2030 in the Group, among other things through the gradual expansion of photovoltaics as well as the use of green electricity.

In the area of internal goods logistics, we have set ourselves the goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030 as well. Here, we rely on optimised and efficient production planning as well as partnerships with freight companies providing alternative forms of mobility.

We take measures to prevent losses of plastic and raw materials through optimisation processes, information campaigns, training and tours.

In a manufacturing company of our size, there is also production waste that occurs during production switches and cleaning processes. We collect and separate these high-quality materials by type and prepare them mechanically for further use. Our goal is to be able to reuse 90% of our waste.
